Being a Gamo Owner I also try out many of their much maligned pellets.
They do not make it easy.....

Recently I trialled two different Gamo wadcutters.
Definitely worth paying the extra dollar.

Gamo Match Diablo .22 Thumbs Up
Pellets visual assessment - good
Loading - consistent
Group - promising
Target Hole definition 90%
1 gramme $15 for 250

Target 15 yards Brocock Grand Prix Pistol
l

Gamo ProMatch .22 Thumbs Down
Pellets visual assessment - poor (see pellet photo)
Loading - inconsistent (indicating sizing was suspect)
Group - poor (expect due to size variation)
Target Hole Definition - 80%
1 gramme $14 for 250

Target 15 yards Brocock Grand Prix Pistol

QA for the Pro Match was disappointing and they are only good for recycling.

Gamo pellet quality has allways been a bit of a hit and miss sort of thing,i avoided them for years after too many bad experiences with them, but recently looking for a mid range heavy 177 pellet between the 10.34 and 16.4 gr pellets i use in a 22fpe 177 pcp i discovered the Gamo 15.4 G HAMMER  pellets and to my surprise these proved to be very well made/consistant in weight/sizeand proved to be very accurate went back and purchased the rest shops stock of 9 more 2oo count tins, tested pellets from all tins and got same great result as first tin, dont know if was just the luck of the draw or these are actually just good pellets, which would definately be a first with Gamo pellets for me.
you would think that Gamo being one the biggest airgun makers and whos been making pellets for a.
long time that they wouldve long ago sorted out their pellet quality
 cheers mike
