I was sitting here on the edge of my bed surfing the net and I thought one of the cats had jumped up on the bed as it shook just a bit, although it felt more like a small dog than a cat. Turned around ready to give that cat a mouthful for scaring me and no cat to be seen, however, moments later they were in the passageway looking upset at something. Never thought twice about it. That was about 4 o'clock that afternoon... I found out about it after my brother phoned and asked, a few hours later. At the time I just shrugged it off as being my imagination. So who knows... Maybe I did and maybe I didn't...
As a boy, I lived in Waiouru. Now there you felt earthquakes, and plenty of them. Sometimes enough to open cupboard doors and tip all the plates etc out on the floor and knock the stuff of the mantle piece across the firplace etc... You soon learned to live with it though...
