Well the worlds 2014 has been and gone, many adversities were encountered, on and off the course, and overcome.
Some shooters had issues even leaving their countries with their rifles (Aussies, and an American) but they got here regardless. The Italian entrant and an American were even given rifles here to use!
Our own shooter Ian (nunga) struggled with scope issues leading up to it, vehicle issues on the trip down, more scope issues there, but still battled through to take 2nd HP springer, well done buddy. And congrats to Speedy VanZyl as well for making it an AirArms 1-2-3 Hp springer event.
Scott's sidewheel decided to leave his scope…with the turret still inside it, but in true kiwi form carried on, with a couple of fixes along the way.
International entrants helped with course design (John Costello on of the more memorable - push it back further, sacred tree? It's in the way:) )
Day 1 saw mass failure throughout the targets, and a few of us worked through till late in the night fixing and testing them, knowing it would no doubt have an impact on our scores, but with positive praise from Andy Kay's (wftf president) of our integrity and dedication.
Day 2 went much better, and day 3 actually saw sunshine :) what a relief.

A shootout at the end to decide 2-3-4-5-6, then dinner and prizegiving.

Lots of socialising and stories every night, loads of new friends made and old ones seen again.

Thanks Andy , had the long overdue cortisone injection yesterday arvo, that was an experience I wasn't looking forward to (again)
Gotta say you looked pretty settled in your shooting as well, and that jacket didn't stand out as bad as you thought (I actually like it!)
Did some numbers, and figured out why a few got missed, click chart was for an expected 15.6fpe, but with the colder temp it was only running 13.7........ Springers, gotta love em :)

It was a pleasure to be partnered with Greg Sauve and Heli Jalakas, two very experienced shooters, a wealth of knowledge that I've definitely taken on board
