It happened again last night.
I was sure I had changed the profile from profile B to profile A, ranged a spinner and the balistic calculator again gave me a wrong reading. I know it was wrong because I know where it should have been.

I have been going into the “reticle adjustment” menu and trying to change profiles.
I think that’s where I’m going wrong. It seems that both times the profile has actually only changed after I have then gone into the “balistic calculator” menu and changed the profile there… 🤔
I guess experiance really is the best teacher 😉

Hi Jawb,

Thanks for the tip about the lap top battery’s. (I’m assuming you meant to reply to this thread 😂)
My son happened to have destroyed a laptop a few months ago (all in the name of science), and last night I pulled the battery pack apart to reveal six 18650’s 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
They are all spot welded together, so I need to figure out how to get them apart and clean up the terminals, then I’ll look into the voltage testing you mentioned.
Many thanks 👍🏻
Pete.

I have been playing around with the record function on the Pard DS35 and got one or two video clips.
Figured out how to send them to my phone.
From the phone I down loaded them onto my computer.
Then joined them together to make a video.
Then I created a you tube account, and up loaded the video...
Been a long day!
For now I've kept it as "unlisted" meaning its not available to the public, you can only watch it if you have the link.

Here is the link,  ----- scroll down to my post saying 3rd times a charm.

Its my first attempt, so let me know what you think.
Still trying to decide if I want a Pest Control you tube channel, if I can make worth while videos, what are the benefits, is it worth the effort, is there going to be hate mail etc etc.

Great honest video.
Perhaps a couple of things I'd drop if its going to be viewed by potential clients. As a shooter I relate to it.
Scope looks like an awsome advantage.
Envious you've got possums.
How fast do you recon that wind was?

Thanks Kruza.
Wasnt really intended for future clients, just as a video/youtube channel.
I havent decided yet if I want a you tube channel, are there benefits, is it worth it etc.

Ja the balistic calculator is great, IF u get it set up correctly!
I know mine is shooting slightly high at most distances. I need to tweek the scope height (in the balistic calculator, not the actual scope height). But I need a 70m shooting range and a still day to play with that and get it right. So for now I just hold a touch under. But I’ll get it right 👍🏻

I have a program called iMovie on my Mac, which is what I used to join the clips and edit them. Was trying to figure it out and learn as I went.
