What do you guys think of HAWKE Scopes? I am thinking to invest some cash into a better scope than my current Nicko Sterling 3-9 x 40 i have on most of my guns.

Can you guys suggest any good ones that will not cost the earth? I need something with more power

Depends on what your going to use it for, 3-9 is great for hunting, but for FT a higher mag is more desireable , as is side focus as well.
Horses for courses......

A hawke sidewinder would be a good choice, there's also a few hi mag leapers as well

This will be purely for FT shooting, as you said my 3-9x40 is good for hunting.

Ken at nzhunter.com does hi mag leapers, wingman was looking at bringing some scopes in to, Alex at Magair has a few that could be worth a look.
There's always some for sale, just depends on where you want to stop spending :)
