Now this would be cool, for the CR600W (I think) pity it's in Portuguese :-) It relates to making an elongated 12 gram refillable cartridge (Just in case you don't like clicking on links :-)) A project for you lathe warriors :-) A.

Thanks Mike, good to know. It was the idea of having a co2 cartridge that would fit the equivalent size of the three 12 gram ones, that was refillable that appealed to me. I'll investigate more :-) Cheers A.

I would bulk fill it, I did this to a crossman 1077 a while back and the consistency was awesome. I used a paintball bottle then tried HPA with a 850psi regulator (co2 runs at around 750-800psi) I probably crossed the boundary of legality as it turned it into a pcp but the consistency per shot was so much better even over the bulk c02

CCheers, I'm still new to all this, and conditioned to try and get things to work to the max :-) The issue is acquiring a bottle that would fit into the CR600W bottle sheath (not sure what it's called,) Would a paintball bottle be that shape? Cheers A.

I made a dummy co2 canister out of solid aluminum that had a 1/8 bsp thread in the side for a HPA quick release to thread into. You would need to drill into the stock and the canister tube for the quick release nipple to come out. A paint ball remote line then connects between the bottle and quick release.

I havent done it, but I believe the best way is to have a hose running to a larger bottle. This would be tapped into a adapted fitting to sit where the small canisters go now. Search Gmac customs. Billbobnz has a good suggestion too.

I still like the idea the guy in the YouTube video has, just not sure of the pros & cons of it.

That looks good to me, especially if you want to retain the look. But of course massive shot count doing it Billbonz way, in which case functionality outweighs look. Always a struggle in some cases.

Andy, I've just looked on Aliexpress and you can buy refillable Co2 canisters off there. They look like they have a threaded join half way up. You could buy a few of those and see if Mike can turn up up a longer cartridge to extend it

have never been a fan of hanging large heavy co2 bottles off co2 guns, and dont like eposed co2 lines either just to fussy i guess bout weight and looks eh,have made up quite a few custom made bulk co3 bottles for different guns, allways done in such a way it didnt destroy the oridional gun,so cuold be put back to origional simply be removing bulk fill bottle, had made several refillable recycled 88gram co2 bottles out of empty ones,i bore the necks out /thread them and fit two way valves in i make myself for guns that use these bottles this a good way to keep origional looks but get the cost advantage of cheaper bulk fill etc,its not hard to make special bulk co2 bottles for most co2 guns evan the pistols that use the little 12gran cylanders can be bulk filled with specially made small co2 cylanders if you got the time and equipment to doso, nothing is impossible but miricals do take little longer.
cheers mike

Yes, I muddled through the 'live' Portuguese to English subtitle conversation of the said video clips, it appears that's what he did, bought a refillable cartridge that unscrews to two halves and he got a friend to make the middle tube, threaded male and female, one at each end that made the end product the exact same length as three 12 gram cartridges. I don't know how much benefit there would be, it appears that refillable ones have less power/shots than the store-bought ones, (according to various articles I found on the web). Also, is there a danger of over filling them, or is it like filling a lighter, just keep pressing till it won't take anymore?
Perhaps I'm just a closet PCP guy, and I just need to bite the bullet (no pun intended) and get a FL and associated gun cabinet, it's just the financial outlay that is the hurdle :-( (lottery win is needed) I quite like the Co2, it's just too quick to start dropping the shots short..I thought if I had a bigger cartridge, it would go for longer. This is starting to sound like 'Dear Diary' :-) Cheers, A.
