I got to thinking Im down to my last 5 tins of pellets, when convid popped up, lots of firearm ammo was sold out, thinking with this fuel scam going on, shipping, freight etc could be a reason prices going up and stocks going down.

Ron young told me all day today he'd be placing orders and posting them out and it appears quailty pellets could be hard to come by in the future so if your needing any, nows the time to get em while they're maybe avaliable.

bought 15 tins of AA 10.34gr today $54 per tin, $540 a sleeve.. last time I bought a sleeve they were $32 a tin
bought 6 tins of Cometa 10.34gr $36 per tin, $360 a sleeve. Hoping they'll shoot as good as the AA's, they used to in the past as I believe they both made by Jsb.

That's all he had, no polymags in .177

What you bought lately and how's the pricing changed?
anyone else stocking up while you can?

Spoke to Ron today he's secured more pellets so get them while you can except you Myson, your good to go.

I just spent half my diff rear money on pellets, but had to make a choice.

I think I need a sleave of predator polymags as well, prosport loves them.

When not available I move on to a different brand and do not look back.
JSB definitely out of favor with me, especially the .22 range.

Post Covid RWS brand remained available and H&N were always on the shelf.

Several brands have economy options and often they are indistinguishable.
I will post some options.

.177 comes into its own for target and plinking when looking at costs.

I see baracuda match 10.5gr still cheap as, not in boxes anymore but i remember they were always a good performer.
The tightest groups i ever shoot with my prosport were crossman 7.9gr but they werent great in wind at longer rangers at FAC power but also performed best over the chrony which surprised me.

Predator polymags were great but $40 for 200 is to much as i can shoot 250 shots in an afternoon just for fun.

Field target trophy were great in my diana 54.

From memory prosport liked the cometa 10.34gr so im hoping the tx200 does also as it shoots the AA10.34gr well.

I shoot to kill not target level accuracy but i know if it stacks 5 pellets at 20m and 40m in a controlled enviroment then i should be good for rabbit head.

I usually practise shooting at small felt dots size of a rabbits eyeball.

Im not a member of trade me anymore but i see in the pellet section sometimes the suppliers only have a few tins avaliable of common proven pellets.

The prices are sky rocketing.

I remember when .22lr subs were $56 a brick of 500, now around $130 for 50 rnds
Pellets going the same way

Jsb exact jumbo heavy 34 bucks a tin.
Just got another 6 tins on top of others have brought recently.
Ukraine has over night taken out two main supply lines of russian fuel that goes to ports and central Russia, Ukrainian under prolong attack at moment.
Trumps war on iran is not going to end soon.
So apart from fuel issues, there is also these wars. They need ammo and that i believe is going to cause a spike in lead prices as well. (My theory not fact)
All ready have stock pile of pellets guns like and secondary pellets.
Not quite as extreme as some of you. I work it at if one in three shots is a kill (which would be a horrible kill rate) got well over a thousand meals of small game.
Spare seals and springs just as important.
Supply lines arnt a certain thing depending on how it all plays out.
Prices will keep going up for the near future for sure.
I'm definitely looking at small game as my protein source as prices rise.
Bummed out no possums on farm. Still up there in top 3 small gane meats for me, for springer air rifles.
