Had one in .22
Awsome gun. Way nicer than wiehrach hw97 I had, for shot cycle

Accurate as all hell. Well built, beautiful stock. Really was a gun I enjoyed while had it. Realised this more so after a couple of other higher end springers to compare it too.

3 reasons I got rid of it.
1. Weight., Absolute killer of a rifle to lug around the fields for more than a hour or so. Even on sling was a heavy rifle.
2. Beautiful woodwork... Found i was over protective of the wood work, which affected where I went with it. More reluctant to drag it through tight scrubby growth. Remember heading up ridge with it and having to push through gorse just cringing about what was doing to wood work.
3. Loading access. Im missing couple fingers on trigger hand so have to load left handed. The tx doesn't have the left side cut low like the right when loading. Found this awkward. Hw97 had both sides cut low which was a huge advantage.
Couple of other draw backs.
Doesn't come with open sights.
Bear trap is noisy as all hell. Forget what i did to stop it making ratcheting sound as cocked. Had to hold beartrap release as cocking or something like that.
If your into quality guns and don't mind wieght and wood definitly one of best options out there.

Don't regret owning one at all. Wasn't quite what I wanted in a rifle personally but still probly the best shooting, smoothest action, nicest rifle ive owned. Not a pratical hunting gun for me personally but shyt it took some critters. Cats, hares, rabbits, magpies, pigeons, starlings, mynas etc.
A gun i personally think if none of the above is an issue for you, you won't regret owning one
