How's everyone fairing - so far hasn't been too bad here in Southern HB but the worst is yet to come.   Only had 32mm rain and the strongest wind gust has been just over 42kmph.

Pressure still steadily falling - expect the peak to be late afternoon to early evening.
Regards

The wind is just swinging around South changing from East to West as the cyclone passes us here in Waihi. No major weather yet. Lots of rain but not exceptional amount.
Thames is flooded though.
Here in Waihi we have plenty of old mining voids underneath us so our drainage is good. LOL

Cambridge was windy all day, but nothing extreme, and had a good steady rain all morning to late afternoon.
Everything’s calmed down since 4pm, even took the puppy out for a walk at 6ish.
Walk quietly, but carry a big stick.

Much the same here in Matamau.  Had nearly 70mm rain so far but not too intense so draining away fine.   Biggest wind gust 42kmph around midday so nothing extreme. The pressure started rising again around 7 so the storm is starting to ease here.
