Weather was perfect, we couldn’t have asked for better weather.
Hot sunny days, blue skies and hardly a breath of wind.

Back home from the weekend away.

Thanks to those who attended, I certainly enjoyed the weekend and the company.
The little plaster of paris figurines that -Ec made were a big hit and so much fun to shoot 👌🏻
Nunga was snipering them at 62yards with his TX200 😳
Sean was showing the old hands how the young guns can knock over plaster of paris rabbits time after time with just a 5FPE gamo 👍🏻

After a day of good plinking and fun, rifle zero’s were double checked and we set off on a late afternoon hunt.
We saw goats, turkeys, magpies, a feral cat and a hare.
-Ec’s .30cal is a beast and although we unfortunatly didn’t get close enough to a goat for an ethical shot, it would no doubt have done the business!

Beautiful stary skies every night around the fire listening to moreporks, and misty mornings clearing as the sun got up over the trees, turning into beautiful hot days 👌🏻

Great weekend, thanks folks.

Does anyone have a camping gazebo to bring along for some shade while out shooting?

Hi Nunga,
As mentioned above, the kitchen has crockery and cutlery, microwave, stove, oven, fridges, instant hot water.
I didn’t mention the dishwashing liquid and drying towles, but if memory serves me correctly they are there as well 👍🏻
The rooms have beds with mattresses, I believe for an extra $5 a night they will provide a sheet, or you just bring your own. Bring your own bedding, I usually take my sleeping bag and pillow with me where ever I go.

Not sure who will see this before the weekend but I hope to be there before 7pm Saturday evening and will have the plinking targets below with me

I may have one more similar to the 2nd from the left as well.   Also I will have over 60 of plaster of paris targets like the ones below we can destroy.

Should be a fun weekend!

I just want to clear up a couple of things first. I see on your original posts that bring your own food and wash your own dishes. Now. Does this mean there are dishes provided? and also what cooking appliances are there? is there a kettle? pots pans?  microwave? cook top stove? oven? fridges? freezer? do we bring our own dish washing liquid and tea-towels?

Im guessing from the earlier posts we bring sleeping bags and pillows and all the stuff?

Just need to know these things so it is easier to know what to shop for in regards to food.
