Walther Reign M2 Air Rifle .22

Are these regulated? If not, and you have a chrony, it's worth shooting a string of shots noting pellet speed, shot count and pressure reading. Put it in a graph, and it'll show you the power curve.

You can then decide what pressure range the shots were most consistent.

I've never shouldered one of these, but thought they would make a good pesting gun.

My first PCP rifle which was reasonably priced I thought at the time, looked good and had many positive reviews. I quickly learned that I didn't like bull-pups with the magazine sitting right next to your ear (must have forgotten when I later purchased a Wildcat). The accuracy was nothing to write home about and it definitely felt plasticky alright. I filled all of the internal cavities of the stock with firm foam to try and dampen the resonance, it may have helped a little.

However, what eventually I found was that the pellet probe wasn't inserting fully into the breech o-ring (and I fitted a genuine replacement during the process of trying to figure out what was going on) which was allowing air to escape and causing most of the noise. There was no internal adjustment available, the probe was solidly connected to the diecast alloy cocking mechanism. The whole cocking setup was mickey mouse in my view and I wasn't prepared to spend time trying to fix a gun that I didn't really like, so I sold it.

This gun is unregulated and a similarly priced FX Dreamline (regulated) is a much better option by a long way.

As a side note, I think the inclusion of Walther in the name gave me the impression that it had a Lothar Walther barrel. Not so, a different Walther apparently. The

	Anyone got one and sorted out what Bar pressure they shoot well between .Cheers

	I've always liked the look of them, but the plasticky feel put me off. But if the shoot as well as people say they do it should be be an awesome little rifle.
