That's looking really good. Some great design features. Well done so far. You will be looking forward to shouldering it I bet? (No pun intended) Having that nice piece of timber makes it special too.

theres some bonuses in having the right people and equipment around for sure.
I reckon these height adjusters are going to be just friggin awesome, pauly you should get a couple off Ian for your next build(s)
neat design on ians behalf, allows the travel post to be able to be swapped out easily if you need to put a longer travel one on, one Allen keynand youre done.
as it is it has 65 mm travel, which should be plenty

If I can get some more time on it, the guide and post hole(s) are within 1mm, so just a light touch with the dremel and a sanding bit, and the back will be together.
the hamster/riser I want to do on a spacer system, or something similar to the RAW one (quick release adjustable)
Lets see what I can imagine up to fit there........

Yeah, that's what she said!

Here's another angle on it, it's actually pretty close to done, just the little aesthetic bits (which equates to a lot of finicky sanding)

Are you going to bed the stock like you said? I see you can buy the JB Weld metal reinforced epoxy filler. I might try some of that next time.

More than likely, it'll add to the weight but it's not going to be light when finished anyway :) of course if I do there'll be pics.
