Im happy to watch mercs.
Keen as to see what pistols get used and how they do. Does raise the question of can you use more than one pistol?
Entering each in as a different entry.
There a few pics I've seen of custom pistols that would be awsome to see used, as well as the pcp pistols.
Being a fun comp it doesn't really seem like it an advantage to limit it to one.
Also is this 6m or 6yards?
Ive noticed both popping up in conversation.
If its yards ill change the title.

Well - the idea came for the UK air gun forum who run a monthly 6 yard challenge for air pistols .  I first heard of this in this video on the TbT channel
https://youtu.be/R46CUb8pNOI?si=kglInTUr55SRcVX2

I took up Nick's challenge at the end of the video and even found a pistol like his on TradeMe that I tried to buy, but gave up when it got to over $180. So I ended up buying a new Gamo P900 which was the cheapest new air pistol I could find.  The Gamo seems to shoot better than the one in the video - just! LOL

I would need to clean out some of the junk in the shed to get 6m but can just get 6 yards at present - so for now will stick with that.    With the winds we have had today it would be a challenge to even get on the paper at 6 yards outside!

At the end of the day,  it's more about a bit of banter  and trying to get better with whatever you have to shoot with than a serious competition.

As far as I'm concerned Kruza you can shoot with whatever you've got at a distance you feel challenging - nothing wrong with having a "custom" class if it gets a few more people involved.

Is the 6 yds measured from muzzle or leading foot? (like in darts)

Had not really given it any thought ... FWIW I did a bit of practice earlier to see if I could get enough space in the garage and would have been to leading foot in my case.

As this is not a serious competition guess it comes down to what works for each person.  Probably easiest to use a mark on the ground and leading foot like darts?

Now come on Paul let's not get too serious pal.
I do 6 yards from fence post behind me, you do 6 meters from end of your barrel ok?
