Almost finished the KnockOut review video.
Decided that if its going to be good review, I should include a section on their sub12 FPE performance, so I'm busy doing that now, then it should be done.

Thinking about what I could look at next and wondered if anyone here had some interesting ideas?

Dont know about review but ive never seen a video in all my browsing that showed mildot bracketing for range finding in the field.
It could be done using the nv with range finder and drop indicator still in use, as you could bracket the critter then take the shot. Dub what your doing over it. The range finder and drop indicator would give a visual referance to how your using the mildots.
You could also take the scope off the rifle, make some cut outs of critters to size, film them being set up at 5 or 10m intervals from say 10m to 50/60m during the day to show how it works as an example and say its a great way for ppl who cant be bothered with the technical side of it. (removing the scope should mean you can do this at any sport field or park with out a major police call out) then edit in the stuff you filmed in paddock on live targets after it.
Keep it simple. Let them know about setting it to the correct magnification for bracketing for distance, then adjust magnification for shot. Dont go into all the ballistic stuff, that is all over the web maybe recommend a few sites for that.
Show a couple of average critter sizes.
Something ppl can set up and do.
Newbies, mathematically challenged and ppl who cant afford range finders or nv scopes would probly benifit from it.

Do a hunting with nv and hunting with torch comparison video.
Should show a vast difference in critter reaction and kills, i imagine.

Do a side by side comparison springer and pcp used in the field.
That to should show to vastly differnt resault i imagine.

Hunting prep and field tactics.

Skinning and checking animals for disease (though utube might not like that)
Anyway a few thoughts.

The mil dot idea is interesting.
But I dont know enough about it my self. Lots of questions pop into my head, like:
1 - Are Mil dots calibrated for meters or yards?
2 - Does first or second focal plane effect the target size to dot size ratio? (as you zoom in or out). It must.
So are mil dots calibrated at a specific distance? I'd guess at 100? Again, yards of meters?
I can see I need to do some research.

Gets annoying when you get a scope like mine.. metric measurements for scope, distance in yards.
There's two measurements moa and mrad. Minute of angle (moa) and milliradiant (mrad)
Mrad will be easiest to start with.
Its metric and that means its base ten for measurements.
100m=10cm 50m=5cm etc.
Its based of of a thousand divisions.
Moa is based off imperial and ive never bothered will it as im not imperial inclined.
Moa would be the original and is used in navigation as well.
Mrad is more gun orientated
Quick google search will get you onto it, so much info on both the research wont be an issue.

Oh and yes most scopes meed to be set to 10x mag for accuracy as its what they are calibrated too for mildot ranging.
As for the mildot size that's all explained in your scope manual as to how big it is on your scope.
What it measures i.e i have a half mildot scope with bracketing at 0.2 mildot from the 5th to 6th mildot. Heres two hawk vantage reticles for comparison.
One mildot, one half mildot.
