What’s the difference between a 2240 and a 2250? And does the 22 part of the name refer to .22caliber? |

2250 has a longer barrel and main tube is longer and has the stock. 2240 shorter barrel and grips.
So the 2250 is a carbine that will give you a bit more power because of the longer barrel. You can interchange parts accross all the 22xx range.

Yes the 22 and 17 denotes the calibre.
Plinking with an early 2240 yesterday and it tested at 470 fps and 7 ft/lb. Pictured is a stock 1740. Edited by mercs - 2 hours 57 minutes ago at 9:03pm |
