I have noticed an influx of new users with totally random user names over the last few days. We are getting more and more of them Also the email address they use are totally random as well.  Therefor they are inactive as the bogus email they used is invalid. I am in the process of deleting these bogus users.

If by chance you are a genuine user that has signed up and you just havent got around to activating your account and i delete you please send me an email and i will sort it out. You can find the email address in welcome thread.

I seem to be spending more time deleting spam users now. We are getting on average 40 new spam users a day now. I am thinking of better ways to stop these spam users from registering. Might do a custom registration forum for users to fill out and this will be emailed to me for approval.

We are now setup to check an online database  for a list of known Spammers .  

when new users registered in this forum for now on their IP, Username, and Email Address is checked against the StopForumSpam Database and if found the registration is rejected. and IP adderess are blocked from viewing this site.

I have disabled the spam software for now as it is blocking to many genuine users form registering on the site.
