It's great to find so many people with a common interest.
I have just gotten back into air gunning as a more mature adult, as opposed to the young teenager that I was when things were a lot simpler. I am hoping to learn about the sport and teach when I know a little more, for now though I am Magus 10 and trying to find my way around. Hi everyone and have a great day. |

Hey welcome aboard.
Got a question put it to the forum. Nothing is to small or silly when ya getting back into it. Taupo is an awsome area. Love it up that way. Plenty pests if your into pest shooting. Wallaby be there soon too. Think they are about reparoa at moment. What gun or gun type are you looking at? Its a totally differnt world from when back in the day with air rifles that for sure. Lots of very onto it shooters builders on the site, so you definitely found a good place to expand your knowledge. Get stuck in and go for gold, she's a beauty sport/hobby/fun. Pretty extensive choice out there. |

When I left for work this morning, exactly the same cold and foggy. I work at the southern end of the lake Turangi and for a change it is warm and sunny so nice day.
Thank you for asking, and have an awesome day. |

Welcome Magus10,
Most of us here are passionate about our air rifles, and most of us try and be mature adults about it too, but sometimes playing with my air rifles brings out the inner kid in meβ¦ π In fact I find spending a few hours on the range with some of my rifles is like therapy for me! πππ |

Good evening Magus,
Welcome to the forum. I spent a lot of time in Taupo around the older part of Wharewaka point, 4 mile bay. I love going there late summer and sitting next to the lake just listening. Yea, I love my airguns too, and look forward to your future posts. Regards, Paul.
