I continued thinking about the 30, as well as looking at a number of on line reviews. I’ve decided that rather than settle for 10m targets I’d use the 30 as my go to air rifle this summer - and test to see what it was really capable of.
There’s reviews out there that say the gun is accurate out to 50 yards, ( without any physical evidence to back up the claim) which I struggle to believe. One review described the 30 as an air gunners’ air gun - So let’s see if it’s true. In the coming weeks I’ll start a new post under the review section and keep you informed as to the gun’s capabilities without any of the bs. Cheers. Declan. Paul beat me to it; make yourself a bell target. strip it down, new guides and a soft spring; get it shooting around 6 footpound. It will be docile and smooth, should be bang on accurate, challnge yourself to get through the 3/8" bell target hole

What about a knock-down or spinner style?
Could try off hand shooting with peep style sights. Or have you seen the bell targets they use in UK? 10 m |

Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. I’ve got three springers, all Weihrauch. A 97k, a 50S and the 30S. the 97 and 50 get reasonable use, but I’m yet to find a niche for the 30. Thus looking for ideas to fit kit ( bling) to it so it too get more use. It’s got a basic 4x32 scope and shoots great groups. But I get bored shooting groups.

If it's never been opened up, I would take it apart, clean off old grease, smooth any rough factory edges, then relube and start shooting groups, getting to know how how it shoots. See if you can get consistent good groups.
Become one with your 30s And photo for us would be good too.

Hi Declan. What is holding it back from being useful.
Are you after internal or cosmetic bling? I assume your talking about a weihrauch. |

Hi everyone. I’ve got a rarely used H30S sitting in the cabinet. I’m looking for ideas about how I could bling up the ol gal so it would be a more useful airgun. Cheers. Declan.
