Hello and thank you for that information I definitely would go for the Weihrauch 97k if one became available,
I brought the HW77 when they first came out in the early 1980s and it was a great gun and one I certainly regretted selling, I will keep your recommendation close to hand if something comes up. Cheer’s for that. Had .177 as a lad so would go with that again. Stu Edited by Stuart - 16 May 2023 at 8:54am |

Hi Stuart,
I see you are also considering the HW97K. Just to let you know, I had a TX200 MkIII .177 once - I liked it but could never get it to shoot groups as well as I wanted it too. So I traded it back in for the HW97KT .177 that I now have. I've now owned the HW97KT for several years and in my opinion it shoots better than the TX200. "Blasphemy" I hear some shout! I guess it's just personal preference but I'm just saying that if you go that way (HW97KT) I think you'll be happily surprised - I love my HW97KT! My zero is at 50yds and on a still day I get 18mm - 20mm groups at 50yds consistently when using sand-bags, artillery hold, follow through, etc.... At 70yds, I'm knocking golf balls off their perch. She's doing around 900-910fps with Air Arms Field Diabolo 8.4gr (HS: 4.52) pellets. I did find that it took about 800 pellets before the barrel fully settled in - then she started to really hum! They are great springers! |

Thinking of selling or swapping my Norinco EM332 with Nikon P22 rimfire Scope
I’m after Airarms Prosport or TX200HC in .177 maybe .22 anyone out there got one to sell or exchange. HW97K might be considered. Stu Edited by Stuart - 15 May 2023 at 4:15pm |
