Hi and welcome. 30fpe is an overkill for bunnies, i would be looking at a crosman or similar in .22 i use mine to take out bunnies out to 50+ yeards no problems just need to invest in a good scope.

Welcome, This forum is pretty quiet. If you want 30fpe a PCP air rifle
might be what you want. To get bunnies out to 50 yards, only 12 fpe is
needed if you make a head shot.

Hi all,
After many years of burning powder and building wildcats for long range varmints (Magpies!, Plovers, Bunnies with a 20 cal) and target shooting (6.5 and 6mm variants) & the odd bit of smashing possums with my 12 gauge semi am super keen to get back into Air Rifle shooting where i started as a teenager (actually before i was a teenager .... in the late 70's .....). The technology has moved on a bit! Totally impressed actually Am keen to get a recommendation on calibre and power level for bunnies (out to 30 - 60 yards). My thinking was .22 cal and power lever of around 30ft/lbs I look forward to your thoughts! Cheers
