Welcome to the forum Spicy!

There are many extremely experienced members here - you've come to the right place!  Smile

I had one of the Sharp Innovas .177 years ago and loved it!  Powerful, accurate and light to carry - an excellent rifle.

Had to give it up (back in the 1990's) because my young son couldn't manage the pumps but I used to shoot at floating leaves and branches as they passed by on the Akatarawa River, from my house balcony 80yds away!!!  Great fun!  It made one hell of a crack and huge splash in the river below our house!!!

I'm afraid I can't answer your engineering queries but many here can.....

Anyone know about the aluminum replacement receivers to replace the factory polymer receivers on the sharp innova or webley rebel?

Apparently some batches have been made in the uk by some air gun enthusiasts, but the sharp innova was a popular sport/varmint rifle in Indonesia and they have anodised aluminum parts for the sharp innova quite well priced, and it should be legal to import into new Zealand without a permit as it's an airgun part, however don't quote me on that!

Im still waiting for an email back from the law about whether or not a permit is required.

Does anyone still own one of these air rifles?
