It's hard alright, this little start on a body line took about 3 hours, flattened 2 batteries on a drill, and destroyed a Hal round rasp :) kinda like sanding concrete with an a4 sheet of paper :) But it's nice  Edited by (pink)MIST - 12 Mar 2015 at 4:11am |

Well that's a nice wee slab of aged nz rimu :)
Thought I'd go all 'native' on it this time , she's pretty hard, and with the inletting coated in 2pot it should work quite nice. If not I'll open the inletting further and use a bedding compound in top of something like knead it or liquid steel :) |
