Thanks ec. Change of plan due to marker thickness.
New plan, get a strip of some thing that dont flex. Old plastic ruler would be great but one here isnt mine.
Drill holes at correct distances for target rings that can put sharp pencil tip in. Have hole in for bulls center that drawing pin goes in for "ruler" to pivot around. Wallah can either draw fresh targets or superimpose lines on a target like those little orange stickers bulls stickers i like after the fact. Win win. First time to mount scope on rifle

Could someone with the actual 6m targets we are supposed to be using put up a pic of them with either a ruler next to it so i can see the size of the rings, or if you know the dimensions that will do.
I'll make up overlay on clear plastic with the ring dimensions so i can score off my non regulation targets.
Just to keep things on same playing field for scoring.

Seated double handed - I did better standing double handed with the Gamo P900 I had.  Need to do more practice with both Webley pistols I have and have another go.

Guess this why i dont shoot pistol.
5 shot, 2 handed not supported. 6m using left hand as trigger hand. Its the one that hit the blue and everything to the left of it. Aim point center of orange target. Open sights .
Ten shot group, right handed.bag rested. black dot aim point. Both that hit the orange target are me not getting the sighting right.(probly should have flipped to peephole) other 8 are all in the hole.
Just for comparison of what the pistol could do, held in the hands of a more competent shooter.
Thats it from me.
Time to start turning this pistol into a more usable form of air gun for me.
Happy shooting and hope to see some better ( or worse) pistol targets from you all who are mad enough to forego a stock and barrel length. 😁

So this is 9m (due to convenient distance place target)
Out doors, breeze left to right.
Black arrow is aim point after 1322 open sights adjusted as much as they allow for windage.
Bag rested. Just because the first attempt at standing made a shot gun pattern at 40m look tight. Target not the offical because dont have printer and frankly don't expect to do that great.
Still 1322 has promise if i can master it. Only about 50 shots on barrel so may be leading in still
Not sure if its ten or 11 shots.
im putting it down to my shooting pistol👍

I am in the throws of moving house and everything is packed away. Moving on Friday, so for some sanity I might be able to sneak away and relax my mind and shoot a couple of targets later in the weekend.

I must get around to trying another target with the Webley.  We had a bit of a re-org in the garage which meant my 6 yard indoor range was no more.    All sorted now  and more than enough clear space now.   Did shoot a few 3" shoot-n-see targets stuck to cardboard cut to fit in my pellet trap and I do like how the Webley shoots.  Nowhere near the standard of some of the other members but hopefully can do better than last time.

Looking to buy another pistol at present for more serious target shooting - waiting on answers from Andy Mayberry regarding several he is selling.   Probably find all the target guns have already been snapped up. I do like the FWB Model 65s as they are spring powered and have complex recoil management system which I think is more interesting than a single stroke pneumatic.  Having said that I was keen on the Gamo Compact but I'm pretty sure that's sold.   Next choice for me after the FWB is either the Daisy 777 or Walther LP3

I did email the Rifle, Rod and Gun Club Manawatu over a week ago asking about 10m Air Pistol but have yet to get a reply so possibly not a big thing at this club?   The HB pistol club is at least 40mins further drive from home so Palmy is much more convenient.   Also the HB club lease is expiring soon and they have already been told it will not be renewed so not sure where it might end up.

Not sure if I would like 10m air pistol or not - but would like to try at least and none of the guns I'm considering are too expensive.   I have put my Gamo P900-IGT on TradeMe. If it sells I will help with the cost of a better "target" pistol.  Then again if nothing comes of the Palmy club, I may just stick with what I've got for backyard plinking - and the 6 yard challenge!

I have bought some silicone moulds and have been making plaster of paris targets. So far I've tested a robot and a astronaut bunny with the webley and managed a clean head shot on the robot and cut the astronaut off at the knees at about 5-6 yards.   Search for "lego men" on the TBT channel and you will get an idea what I'm talking about.

-Ec

Sup ppl. Must be time for a few more targets.
I'll be getting another 1322 sometime around late Jan or feb and try a few targets before i pull it apart and do it up.(have everything except pistol and longer barrel)
Im expecting horrible resaults as I don't pistol shoot, but keen to give it a go for sake of participation on a day off.

It’s a loud old thing. Co2 diverts to a cam Mechanism to present the next shot.
Not super fast but the flat .22 pellets do give a good thump to shred the target! Probably a good bird pistol if it didn’t scare the rest away!

This was 2 hands, may have to glue a target to some proper pistol target paper to see if it becomes easier to score!

But also sighted in the old FAS 604 with a red dot and the HW75 so have a couple of options
J S Airguns
Air Arms TX200('s)
Theoben Sirocco
HW77
FWB 300s
Webley Patriot
One or two others...

Current projects:
Too many..

Looks like good weight distribution on that gun.
Looks like good target from what i can make out. Definitely shredding the target a bit.
Free hand, two hands, rested,?
