One benefit is that if you get a handpump, all your fills are free from then on, and you can get more power out of the gun.
I did try a kit, which was good and was regulated, but not a very good shot count. The conversion I did had a bigger tank, but not regulated, which wasn't much of an issue. A reg takes up room in the small tank.

Power, consistency, shot count in a reasonable sized tank.
I’ve never been too keen as they are fairly cheaply made pistols… Pauly had a custom made PCP pistol for sale recently, probably for not much more than a conversion would end up costing but it’s built to hold the pressure… |
