Well i decided to make the choice and get a TX today. Traded in my Crosman .177 gasramed beast.
Got some good coin for the Crosman and went home with a brand new TX200. Opened the box to see a lovely gun. It is heavy smells new and has some oil to go with it. I put the 10-40x50 scope on to see how she looks. Next i let a few rounds off to get rid of the oil in the barrel. There wasnt that much oil there to start with and the Chrony says she is doing around 850 fps with 8.44gr pellets. which is about right for this gun. When i get the scope sorted i will see how she groups. All in all so far i am more than happy with it and i havent made any adjustments to it out of the box and it feels good. |

I'll have to have a look of course, but you will not regret this purchase, and expect some difference in the results.

Hi Nunga,
Did you get it from Youngs ? Why didn't you get the HC - is the longer barrel better for FT ? Are you going to run it at full power or put a kit in it ? So many questions ... |

same manual for mk3 and HC
left of the AA logo says MK3, right of the logo says HC if the barrel looks long like the picture, MK3. HC is just as accurate (in the right hands) but is harder to cock due to the shorter barrel and underlever length. run it full power (FAC) and give me some competition! :) |

Air gun of the air gun gods!!
Looks like a nice bit of wood on it to, some beech can look a little plain. Have you had any serious pellet time with it yet? I know with mine I can stack pellets at 30 Metres and the action is so buttery smooth however mines been somewhat tuned. Love to see some targets if you do paper at all. Graeme

I dont do much paper. Have shot once with it on a national Field Target level shoot a few weeks ago and tomorrows shoot will be the second time it will be used :) I Ironed out a few bugs today that showed up the first time i used it and it looks nothing like what it looked like in the photos. I must post photos of what she looks like now.
Oh yea, Welcome to the forums ! |
