I dont think they are quite 1960s - more like 1980's or 90's.

I have some of those 177 pellets - they shoot ok for general tin can shooting but they arent target ammo. But they are what every country kid used to whack small birds and other suitable targets.

Anyways - I can get by without said Winchester pellets - but they definately are the tightest grouping in my Cometa Fusion.

I Last purchased .22 in 2020.
Laser Target and Domed were options.

Dies went back to Australia.

Sig Sauer Venom or Webley VMX pellets could work.

What do the actual pellets look like?

Playing with a new-to-me rifle and it likes these pellets .....

Thanks Mintie but I have a 10L carbon bottle and the Yong Heng is undersized for that.  However, that said, I have one on the way to act as a spare for the one we currently have at our club which is quite old and has been faultless really.  The only problem with it is internal corrosion of the steel fittings but parts a very inexpensive so not a big deal really.  We also have a big Tuxing and it has been pretty good as well.

I suspect mine was a lash-up job from used parts as the low pressure inlet reed valve shattered early on and did a lot of damage.  I've been battling with it ever since but I'm not yet prepared to give up on it.  Also, silicon oil is on its way for regular addition after the new rings are fitted.

Its a pity is that Yong Heng don't appear to make a large version to match the capacity of the Tuxing.  If they did then it would be my replacement choice .

TR6 - there is a very cheap Yong Heng on trademe at the moment, I already have 2 so no need for it. Pickup only though which might be a hassle.
