G4 trigger upgrade in today.

I was amazed when I took the gun to bits what a basic bit of kit it is in terms of engineering etc!
While I had it in parts I pulled the gas ram out and cleaned and lubed everything.

At the rear of the ram just in front of where it sits in the trigger housing the piston had made some pretty bad scratches and wear on the ram body.

Tolerances throughout seem pretty slack.
That said I have fired a few thousand rounds trouble free so far.

I guess what amazes me is it is so basic and works so well.

The trigger upgrade is great but I am one of the rare few that ended up with a hair trigger so if I don't like it I will pull it down again and work it through, as per the instructions for such an outcome.

I did a bit of sanding here and there so will see what it looks like next time I pull it down I guess.

Already way more accurate though.
