The history behind us was founded in FT. A few of us still have our dedicated rigs. We have looked at HFT because the target set up crosses over. Anyone can shoot any style they want. seated, supported, etc. I would like to think that those of us that hunt with our airguns will find it quite an enjoyable challenge to successfully range and hit the killzone in the knockdown targets.
We also have a zeroing, paper punching are too.

We will have friendly competitions where similar compete with similar, so you can use whatever you like, but Those that follow the formal rules of HFT may well shoot next to, but wouldn't compete against someone that was using a range finder and is sitting supported.

Targets are set at 50 m max. Zero range is about 70m, but on certain days we could alter things to stretch out to about 150 m.

We are rising from the ashes of a perilously low time in airguning, so we want somewhere that all types can use.

You are welcome to come along one day and see for yourself. This isn't the kind of place you will get stared at if you are new, even the resident sheep are friendly.

There is also an area for punching paper, plinking at spinners, zeroing and in the near future we will try a 10 m pistol range too.

We aim to meet first Sunday of each month. There is a small range fee. Some for the landowner, and funds for target upkeep.

There are a few of us already, as we are building our numbers again, but it would be great to see some new faces.

It is just north of Otaki, so if anyone is interested PM me.

Thanks
Paul.
