Author: Billbobnz
Subject: 596
Posted: 04 Nov 2021 at 2:47pm

Good evening everyone,

Has anyone had much luck with the Argentinian made Apolo pellets?

I've recently brought a tin of 9 grain .177 hollow points to shoot through a Stoeger A30 s2. The grouping was up to 4" at 20m with a crapy old scope, changed scope to a new scope today and grouping narrowed down to 2-3inches then after about 50 shots and thinking the new scope was crap I decided to shoot my old favorite H&N Barracuda Hunter Extreme and got 5 shots in a half inch group.

Either this rifle is extremely pellet picky or are these pellets the problem - they do have a reasonable side mould seam on them so this will throw off the accuracy.

What is everyone elses success rate with these?
