    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="www.kiwiairgunners.co.nz/member_profile.asp?PF=815">Ashman</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1362<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 15&nbsp;May&nbsp;2026 at 10:35pm<br /><br />Picked up a pair of 11mm/30mm Sports Match and mounted the Presidio scope.<div>Sure makes a difference with parallax adjustable down to 10m.</div><div>2.5- 15 mag is bloody good.&nbsp; 2.5 has a very wide field of view and the glass on the Sightmark is pretty damn good.</div><div>Took that and Kruzaroads HW(&amp; away fishing and got set up yesterday over the back of the ute with bags.</div><div>Final group with the gamo had 10 shots touching at 20m, albeit slightly vertically strung.</div><div>Put a few pellets through the HW.&nbsp; &nbsp;That created a problem.&nbsp; The Gamo trigger now feels like an agricultural implement, even though it's good enough.</div><div>Took about 15 -20 shots to get half a feel of that lovely German and after a few groups that looked promising with the odd flyer, the final group was a very attractive&nbsp; clover pattern 5 shot beauty.</div><div>The wind started at 2pm which cut the session short as it fair whitecapped the lake, so swapped the rifles for an ultralight soft plastic set up and caught 3 fat rainbows between 2.5 and 3.5 lb in a very active 35 minutes, most of which was spent worrying about 4lb tippet and the weed beds, plus the very fiesty fish on the end, which were all in superb condition. Took one for dinner that was an orange fleshed fatty that, as a bonus, was full of ripe roe which I sashimied in soy sauce, lemon and grated fresh ginger with lemon juice and cracked sichuan pepper, alongside which I carved up half a fillet of the flesh.&nbsp; &nbsp; Cooked the other half in a coconut korma curry with whisked egg.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div><div>Bloody lovely couple of days.</div><div>Shout out to Kruzaroad.&nbsp; Everthing was exactly as described and I couldn't be happier. What an amazing wee piece of engineering!</div><div>I won't sleep with her tonight; I'll save that till were married.</div>]]>

(Scope has lifetime warranty)</div><div>&nbsp;<div><img src="uploads/548/Sig_R3.jpg" height="240" width="320" border="0" /><br></div></div><div><br></div><div>Rear stop block from Gamo rail works well to keep different configuration in place.</div><div><img src="uploads/548/gamo_magnum_ZR.JPG" height="380" width="500" border="0" /><br></div><div><br></div><div>Gamo rail easily separates at polymer inserts providing a riser and stop block.</div><div><img src="uploads/548/gamo_rail.JPG" height="380" width="500" border="0" /><br></div><div><br></div><div>Full Gamo system including scope, mount and rail.</div><div>The space between the stop block and rail closes with use and</div><div>this was confirmed as normal by the NZ Gamo Agent.     <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="www.kiwiairgunners.co.nz/member_profile.asp?PF=815">Ashman</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1362<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 13&nbsp;May&nbsp;2026 at 10:06pm<br /><br />Scope is a Sightmark Presidio.&nbsp; Not truly top quality glass, but 2.5 - 15 X 50 and illuminated also, which I like for first and last light and also because my eyes are the same age as the rest of me.<div>Had a 6 -24 X Sightmark on a .204 that along with the 17hmr was a daily shooter on vineyard pest control and held zero well whilst taking a fair pounding in the ute. The Vortex on the 17HMR didn't fare nearly as well and I had to baby that a litlle.</div><div>&nbsp;</div>]]>
