Only one shot needed.

From what i have been taught, aim at the edge of the kill zone leading into the wind to allow the bullet to drift in and give you the biggest advantage. Hence with my shot the wind dropped right off at the time and i still got a perfect kill. Had the wind stayed or got stronger it would still have had the full kill zone to take the impact. Trust this makes sence

That leads to the question, did the shot on edge of kill zone topple ot or did it need an extra shot.
Actually has me curious as to how you afford to do wind drift testing. I mean i have chewed through hundreds of pellets in different winds to learn compensation for various strengths to take guess work out (yet still misjudge it in the field at times.

Was down there for 2 day, got this on the first morning. It was croaking its head off. There was a bit of wind so i held on edge of kill zone to allow for a bit of drift but when i did the shot the wind deopped off and it hit exactly where i was aiming.

Weather turned to sh*tty rain after lunch but i managed a red Spiker at around 100m. Mighty fine shot distance bb. So what were the weather conditions and shot placement like. How long was the hunt.

Diana,weihrauch and 1322 do for now. Be another 1322 around Feb as well. Plus telly have to do up.
Thats getting to many for me. Going to be to many scopes to rember drop.
Plus i find im better off using a few i like often than a heap seldom.
Why you got a couple when i found guns i liked better. Don't need the dead weight.

I recon you can have too many. Whats the point once you have the bases covered.
If diana turns out to be as accurate as wiehrauch out too 100m I'll drop the weihrauch. No point having two guns of same cal doing same job. If not I'll keep the diana for out to 80m and weihrauch for 80m to 100+ (it constantly hitting target at 100m on still days) diana has power to drop bigger game than the hw at close range. That extra 8 fpe makes a difference.
Second 1322 wont replace hunting one as its gonna be a more of van gun/knocking things out of trees and rats from a clear postion rather than dragging it into hides and bushes where they get scratched and knocked.

Shotgun is a pretty useful tool. Huge variety of loads. Best all round bug out gun in my opinion.
Id like one in pcp in a big bore calabar but thats a pipe dream. Don't like all the pumps and connections that go with them. Not practical for my life style and to strict rules for van storage really.
Happy with me springers for small game and just enough to do that. 2 would be optimal 4 will be max once telly is done up and given away.

Im going to attempt to not collect to many guns, but you cant ever have too many guns can you.....?

Definitely a .223 as mentioned and maybe a shot gun but after this years attempt of duck shooting i cant be bothered hahaha. Be a 17hmr for rabbits/goats as soon as you introduce him to one I bet.
Gun camo works a treat. Moderator sticks out big time. Some good camo painting techniques on utube.
