    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="www.kiwiairgunners.co.nz/member_profile.asp?PF=548">mercs</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1250<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 16&nbsp;Sep&nbsp;2025 at 10:33am<br /><br />Spending time with the ZRS I can appreciate what Norica were trying to achieve.<div>I have made minor but essential changes to ensure reliability.</div><div>I have reduced clearances on the sliding parts and chosen to lubricate against potential wear.</div><div>The now altered action has a light spring assisted return resulting</div><div>in a low felt recoil but the optics remain protected.</div><div>I expect to run up a high shot count in the thousands at the target range.<br><div>The rifle accuracy remains the same as new but surprise "fliers" have been eliminated.<br>&nbsp;<div>.22 ZRS 23 yards, bench rest with front bag, wind gusts from the right</div><div>POA right hand number 8, JTS Dead center 18.1 grain pellets.</div><div>Zero Tech Vengeance 4-12x40 SF scope.</div><div>13.14mm OD 5 shot group.</div><div><img src="uploads/548/Norica_ZRS_.22_group.JPG" height="493" width="481" border="0" /><br></div></div></div>]]>

Many common pellet types were not usable even with a probe. While experimenting with different pellets the breech was reopened for inspection with pellets inserted. A number of them seemed to suffer damage when loading, the breech block surfaces were smoothed and the loading port eased.<div><br></div><div>The Chronograph results are greatly improved and I will reassess at the targets.</div><div><br></div><div><table cellspacing="0" border="0" style="font-family: Arial;
