I tried bb's cfx yesterday. She's got a bit use on her and being a gamo it of course wouldn't be much for trigger pull, or accuracy, espially as bbs scope settings are low and to the left for my eye.
Still you got to try them to see.
How wrong was I with my pre shooting gamo judgement? Very!
Its trigger was well smooth enough for shooting. After finding out what distance he had sighted in for and a bit of mental guessing on drop and compensation for his scope setting, proceed to get a massive shock as the first shot the twig I had clipped a little hair clip with a bow too broke. Next shot took out the hair clip.
Gun was easy to load and cock. Comfortable to shoulder, trigger nice to use, light weight, scope left a lot be desired but obviously was accurate.
All said and done a great little gun.
I'm assuming age and wear had smoothed out the trigger and had everything else well beded in.
Its a gamo that I would actually consider buying if I decided I wanted a gamo rifle.
Not fan of gamo, but have never totally rubbished them as mercs has shown they can be good little hunters and accurate,( think it was the igt) but I think now I've found a gamo that I would say " if your going to buy a gamo I'd look at this model"
Probly still over priced new ( but that's every gamo)
But if your going to buy a gamo you'd be doing yourself a favour by looking at this model. (from my limited few shots experiance)
If you get one second hand for the price bb did, your totally winning,

I was on that on that one also, renegged --glad to see it's found a good home. Thanks Mercs, will do a full strip down at some stage. Got a once piece scope mount today and will put that on and see if that straight away improves the accuracy. It takes some effort to find a good Gamo but they are out there.
655 fps is excellent I wish you many hours of enjoyment.

Mine is a .22 and was 614 fps in a worn state and 673 fps after conversion to gas ram from custom seals.
Close to 15 ft/lbs and genuine pest control option due to accuracy and has earned an engraving on a club trophy up against some very fine European brands.
I paid $250 for a 2010 model and consider it a bargain.

Quick check has them priced from $520 - $700 so need to shop around if buying new.
